BUT FIRST, LET ME TAKE A SELFIE

As I was flipping through my photos last week I realized ALL my photos had only 2 people in them. Ben and Bentleigh. It was inevitable, I know... but I just thought I would be in some of the photos. Yes, I could take an unflattering selfie several inches from our faces (difficult to do when it still takes two hands to hold the baby!), or I can drop a lot of $$$ every time I want good photos of us.

Ben isn't one for enjoying getting his photo taken (tough luck, babe!), so naturally he doesn't think to take them either! So, instead of nagging him to take a picture of me and Bentleigh every 5 minutes after he gets home from school, I decided to order my new favorite toy! A wireless shutter device for my camera... now I can set up my camera across the room and take a picture via remote anytime I want to. Capturing the precious moments I want to be able to remember years from now.

I have many very talented photographer friends, so as I oogle over their amazing work all over Facebook... I'll be at home, hiding from the snow, taking my (now) slightly above average selfies. :) 

                           

And this is just because... Yes, I am officially, THAT mom. Sheesh.
